Creating a release takes just a few minutes. Sign in to your BoomKit dashboard, click 'Create Release', upload your audio files (WAV or FLAC recommended), enter your track details and contributors, upload your square cover art, and pick your release date. BoomKit provides free UPC and ISRC codes automatically.
Processing times depend on your tier. Fast Lane delivery on Label plans reaches stores within 48 hours, High Lane delivery on Premium takes up to 10 days, and Mid Lane on Beginner takes about 3 to 4 weeks. We recommend scheduling your release date 2 to 3 weeks ahead so all stores have ample time to process your metadata.
Yes, minor metadata corrections (such as fixing typos in titles, adjusting lyrics, or updating contributor credits) can be requested through your dashboard or support before your release goes live. However, audio files, track order, and primary artist names cannot be altered once delivered to digital stores without submitting a new release.
Stores require high-resolution, square artwork (at least 3000 x 3000 pixels) in JPG or PNG format. Your artwork must be sharp and original. It cannot contain website URLs, social media handles, barcodes, pricing, store logos, or blurry images, and the text on the artwork must match your release title and artist name exactly.
Digital stores and streaming platforms report and pay royalties on a monthly schedule. As soon as stores report earnings to BoomKit, funds are credited directly to your account. Withdrawal requests from your wallet to your bank, PayPal, mobile money, or crypto are processed promptly, typically clearing within 24 to 48 hours.
